ON: Not Understanding

It’s wired in us as humans to seek the answers, the explanations and the reasoning. It helps us to make sense of the senseless things that happen to us within this chaotic, unpredictable life. There is value in investigating & dissecting. But there will come a time where no matter how hard you think or how much energy you put in, you simply will not come to an answer. 

What if, instead of continuing to pursue the endless quest for meaning, you just accepted… that you don’t know? 

You don’t know why they acted the way the did. You don’t understand why this happened or didn’t happen. You can’t explain why the cards fell the way they did. You just don’t know—and that’s ok. It’s more than ok: it’s freedom.
